2. Or they might exact revenge....
Stanford had the easiest route to the final four, and now they have the easier semi, against Texas A&M, not Baylor, as expected.

3. Kudos to UConn, they actually made me root for Duke
Something I didn't think possible. If UConn wins the title I'm gonna barf. They really are bad for women's basketball..:puke:

6. Can you explain why you think UCONN is bad for women's basketball?
You offered no reason for your judgment.

10. Bad for women's basketball?
Haven't they done as much as anyone to raise the profile of the women's game, to the point where we're having a discussion about it in a general forum like this?

Yes, the rivalry with Tennessee ended abruptly, but you'd have to take that up with Ms. Summitt. She's the one who took her marbles and went home after we landed Maya Moore.

5. It will be interesting to see how ND fares against UCONN
ND defeated TN, who is taller and more athletic than they are, by 14 pts and were in command of that game most of the time. I was really shocked at how frustrated TN got by ND's defense.

ND also came close to defeating UCONN 2 of the 3 times they played this year. Indianapolis is practically home court for ND, and their game is getting better. This year is also the 10 year anniversary of ND's last National Championship. Should be an interesting Final Four this year.

ND is my alma mater, but I also like UCONN. When the 2 play I can't root against either. Hope it's an exciting game and may the best team that day win.

7. You're like me, ND is my alma mater, but I'm from Connecticut...
Sort of going for UCONN...want Geno to get 8 to match Pat Lowlife and let her grind her teeth...also, UCONN will be down for a few years, and ND is a young team, so they'll be back...and it's Maya's last eyar.

11. Dominant Teams In Sports Are Always Good for Any Sport
because it forces other teams to improve in order to get better. I always use the SF 49ers as the prime example. They dominated the NFL from 1981 through 1995 winning 5 Superbowls. They dominated so much that they spawned a new generation of offense. 49er offensive coordinators later became head coaches of other teams like that won superbowls using the 49er offense like the GB Packers.

UConn's dominance forces other teams to compete which will improve the overal sport.
