So, who needs the DH?
On the first day of interleague play, the Colorado Rockies, plying at home without the DH, batted around and scored 6 runs in the bottom of the second inning against the Detroit Tigers and lead at the end of three innings, 9-1.

Indicative of the DH rule does to the quality of team management, Tiger starter Rick Porcello has completed the first three innings in spite of giving up nine runs (7 earned), on eight hits, two walks and one error.

1. It has nothing to do with the DH.
Their pitcher can't throw curves or breaking balls at altitude!
