Replacing Al Davis will take a Raiders village

Chief executive Amy Trask and Al Davis' son, Mark Davis, will search for a football executive.

It's still unclear exactly how the Raiders will make personnel decisions in the short term or, in the long term, determine who will assume the responsibilities of owner Al Davis, who died Saturday at age 82. There were clues Monday.

"Whatever role I need to play, I'm well prepared to play it within the structure of how we do things," head coach Hue Jackson said. "Obviously, I know I'm the lead when it comes to football, and I gladly accept that.

"Nobody is going to do things alone. That's not how we do business."

One of the first personnel decisions the Raiders will have to make concerns rookie quarterback Terrelle Pryor, whose five-game suspension ended Sunday. The team has a roster exemption for a week while it decides how to free up a spot for Pryor.
