1. Totally bizarre that the Bush elder pedophile scandal had Nebraska roots
Edited on Thu Nov-10-11 01:24 PM by SpiralHawk
...and that whole vast stinking Republicon pedophile mess of the 1990s may be linked to the current vast stinking Republicon pedophile mess in Happy Valley -- as is being discussed all over the net. And now, here comes Nebraska to Happy Valley (Note: the Huskers football team had nothing to do with the Bush White House doings, that was, I believe, linked to Boys Town in Omaha.

The Rot is massive. Here's the stink link:

12. You sound like a rich white man
Kick those women and blacks out. We never wanted them. Apparently the right doesn't have the monopoly of arrogance, exclusivity & prejudices.

9. Prayer Vigil
After the angry riot that followed Joe Pa's firing, the students at Penn State have apparently been having a somber moment of reflection. Thousands of them held a prayer vigil by candlelight for the kids victimized by the whole ugly story.

So I think the mood in Happy Valley today -- Game Day -- is going to be unavoidably intense, but basically respectful. I hope both teams will give a show of athletic excellence, playing with nobility and skill. That way maybe the athletes can bring some light into this spiritual and legal cesspool.

10. Now that was an entertaining game...
from the point of view of a Nebraska fan. Must have been tough on the Nittany Lion fans...but at least as far as football goes, they can hold their heads up high. They played well, even if they lost.

Final: 17-14 Nebraska.

A Hawkwing wig-wag salute to one and all...
