First time since 1985 -- no #1 seeds in the Final Four.
And only the second time since the tournament began.

1. Also, all four teams beat a number one seed to get to the final 4!
BTW, I am an LSU alum, but hats off to UT. That was an amazing game.

6. Thanks!
I've been amazed that I haven't encountered one LSU "sore winner." Good luck -- you have a great team there! :hi:

5. You're right.
It's the first time since they expanded to a 65-team format but it didn't actually happen that year. Thanks for the clarification! :hi:

7. I thought it was the weakest year
I'd ever seen among the top teams. Many friends and I were saying a few weeks ago that this year's top seeds looked like #2 and #3 caliber teams from other seasons. So I'm hardly shocked at the outcome although I didn't take advantage of it financially.
