Apparently he recently pulled this gem out of his gigantic ass, according to this morning's LA Times:

"The media, the sports media, has got social concerns that they are first and foremost interested in," Limbaugh said during his show Monday. "They are dumping on this guy, Rex Grossman, for one reason and that's because he's a white quarterback."


So to summarize the OxyMoron: Donovan McNabb bad, Rex Grossman good. And for all you Lions fans wondering if there's anyone capable of being a worse GM than Matt Millen, I believe you have your answer.

1. On Pardon The Interruption, the other day

This came up briefly, and the question of, "does this make sense?" landed in Michael Wilbon's lap.

His answer?

"Yeah, if you're a race-baiting bigot, I guess it does."

I'd say that sounds about right.

2. Is it just me, or is Rush making WAY more racist comments

...lately than normal? I mean, we all know he has always made racist comments, but it just seems like it's way more often than before now. I'm still trying to get over his whole "Half-rican American" comments in reference to Barack Obama and Haley Berry. He used to be called out on it in the national media, and he would respond with some horse-shit excuse like, "my comments were misunderstood" or "I have lots of black friends (like Clarence Thomas, and also my show's producer, blah, blah, blah)." Now he doesn't even try to hide it, and the mainstream media just ignores it too. I guess they figure it's par for the course. The good thing is that perhaps that also means he is becoming more and more irrelevant.

3. Rex did such a poor job losing to that colored boy Peyton Manning

So how does OxyRush explain the adulation heaped on Manning?

Limpballs is too stupid to realize that the rules of his echo chamber of white male victimhood don't apply in the sports world, which is by and large a meritocracy.

4. Can a white QB make it in the NFL? Montana,Brady,Bradshaw,Aikman all

had to play that much harder to overcome this particularly nasty racial stereotype. I'm sure Grossman will as well,showing once more how a talented white QB can prove his skills superior to a young black QB such as Vince Young who has never had to overcome perceptions that a man of his ethnicity is unable to play the position.

Damn,either Limbaugh's upped his oxycontin dosage considerably or he's trying to kick and is going through severe withdrawals. I'd bet on the former.
