Barry Bonds practiced with the Red Sox?
Edited on Mon Jul-07-08 02:49 PM by El Supremo
That's what they said on ESPN last night. They're worried about Big Papi's injury. But it just ain't gonna happen. And if it did, I have some Red Sox paraphernalia to sell.

BTW here is a photo BB's 756th home run ball as released by the Hall of Fame:

3. They need to put an asterisk next to the Rockies
NL Championship title.

Right El Supremo?

Even you have to admit the reason they made it to the World Series was because they were very hot at the end of the season.

They're clearly not that good.

Their stomping by the Red Sox put things in perspective in a hurry well before spring training this season.

4. Wow. bitter much?
Rockies got to the WS fair and square, unlike a certain unemployed "flax-seed" oil player.
Its not uncommon for a team to be good one year and not so good the next year.
As for the being hot at the end of the year--should the NY Giants have an asterik after their SB win too? Cause clearly they "weren't that good" either..not even winning their division...:eyes:

toward specific members, you should try to pick up that there are regulars of this forum.

El Supremo is one, and I happen to be another, among many.

And a lot of us enjoy giving each other a hard time as sports fans are known to do.

El Supremo enjoys torturing me about Barry Bonds and so I decided to say something about his God-awful Colorado Rockies who embarrassed the National League.

As for your analogy about the NY Giants, it makes no sense at all.

The Giants WON.

The Rockies LOST.

The New York Giants were and are good.

But you go on and roll your eyes since you seem like a typical uniformed Barry hater. :)

edit...typo

9. Well hopefully he'll put on a good show to help make up for
how the Rockies allowed the National League representative to be humiliated by Boston.
