Adam "Pacman" Jones Reinstated to the NFL
It was announced earlier today, on ESPN, that Adam "Pacman" Jones has been reinstated into the NFL. On a slightly different note, has anyone been surprised at the reaction of some former Dallas Cowboy players to Pacman Jones being picked up by the Cowboys? I watched the "Outside the Lines" coverage of the reinstatment of Jones and it was mentioned then that both Michael Irvin and Troy Aikman had problems with Jones being aquired by the Cowboys. This shocked me for one because of Irvin's bad behavior when he was in the NFL. It seems that if anyone should feel someone deserves to be given another chance it would be Michael Irvin. Aikman supposedly said he was unhappy about Jones being picked up by the team in that he felt players needed to earn the right to play for the Cowboys. The idea of players supposedly needing to earn the right to play for the Cowboys surprised me in that, even though Aikman may not have gotten into any trouble while he was with the Cowboys, as far as I know the Cowboys have always been a group of roudy guys doing some less than desirable things. In addition, it seems that Aikman never asked for any of his teammates, who were behaving badly while the tean was winning Superbowls, to be kicked off the team.

1. I thought Michael Irvin was mentoring Adam Jones in Dallas.

3. Maybe Now, but Not at First
Maybe Irvin in mentoring him now, but when the team first wanted to bring Pacman in Irvin was against them putting him on the team. It seems he began to like Pacman when he (Pacman) said he was going to give up his nickname.

2. Good for him.
As much as I don't like the Cowboys, I still want him to have a Pro Bowl season, to shut up the Woody Paiges of the world who basically called him everything short of the n-word while he was suspended.

4. If he plays like he did in Tennessee, he's not a Pro Bowl player
I bet he has more trouble in the future, sometime within the next 2 years.

6. Pacman. Pacman. Pacman. Pacman.
Pacman. Pacman. Pacman. Pacman. Pacman. Pacman. Pacman. Pacman. Pacman. Pacman.

Sorry, "Adam." That ship sailed a long time ago. Your name is Pacman.

Giants stadium, he better have bodyguards around him.

Tom Urbanski, the bouncer in Vegas who got paralyzed in that strip club shooting, is from the Long Island area. His friends blame Pacman for instigating that riot.
