5. Sam Perkins Too, Right?
When you mentioned Worthy, i immediately flashed on Sam. They were both on that UNC team with Jordan, and i think Perkins won a title when he was in L.A.

Worthy, Perkins and Jordan, playin' catch for nearly an entire half of basketball.

9. It was maddening. And to do it with Worthy, Jordan and Perkins on your team was a travesty...
as if Sampson and Othell Wilson could match them - NOT.

13. How Could He Have That Group Of Players. .
. . .and win one national title, and one ACC title? Three NBA all-stars, one of them a college player of the year, and that's all he could accomplish.

I think Dean's overrated just because of what he did wrong with that collection of talent.

7. It seems Perkins was a near miss
Wiki says "He was on three different teams (1990-91 Lakers, 1995-96 Sonics, 1999-2000 Pacers) that went to the NBA Finals, but lost against Phil Jackson coached teams."

12. Thanks
I knew he was on the Lakers when the Bulls won their first championship. I thought he was there earlier than that.

I guessed wrongly.
