stands on edge
caught in time
frozen yet
fluid

the perfect
upstanding curve

ready to throw itself
down

as we hold our breath

waiting

for that
curling
edge

spray
foaming
back

the wild hair
of the woman

in your bed
opening
herself

in that

perfect
curve.
