:) Sadly, I have had three close friends pass away due to HIV-related reasons. I think sometimes we don't realize how much we will miss them once they are gone. The world just seems less rich and funny and warm without them in it. :(

An HIV positive friend just informed me this morning that he's been diagnosed with an opportunistic cancer. He's still a young man, in his mid-twenties. The doctors say the cure rate with radiation is about 60% (the tumor is on his spine, so they don't want to do surgery unless it's an absolute last resort).

How I hate this disease.
