Anyone watching Big Love's final season

the parallels between Bill and his family and gays is being drawn ever tighter. Brilliantly written, brilliantly acted, and a great message via analogy, who can ask for anything more?

1. I've watched it from the beginning.

It's very well done. Albee is such a hypocrite with his plural wives and gay lovers. Tonight they introduced the lesbian character, played by Judith Ivy who has befriended Bills #1 wife.

4. Yup... I won't be able to watch tonight's episode until tomorrow...

but it is pretty compelling. I think it may be very unfortunate that this is the last season. I see a lot of material left to explore.

5. What is up with the blond wife?

I've watched only a few episodes, and she's rude, reactive, paranoid, and very childish. Why is Bill "married" to her? I don't understand why the others put up with her.

6. From what I remember from the first few episodes

she is a daughter to one of Bills business partners, a polygamist cult leader, ect. I think she is on there to bring in the "fundie" Mormon aspect of the Mormon world, and create conflict within the family. She's also portrayed as the most devout "Mormon", as she is the wife that was brought up within the religion compared to the other two (if I am remembering correctly!)

she was raised on the compound and was the daughter of the prophet who threw Bill off as a teen and the brother of Albert who is the prophet now. Also Bill's first wife was raised Mormon.

8. I'm watching this season for the first time.

Great drama, great acting. Considering it is near the end of the series, it is still drawing me in. This week's episode with the murder of the prophet's lover was excellent.
