An Act of Defiance in North Carolina
With their right to marry being put up for a vote in 2012, three same-sex couples and their supporters showed up at the county register's office in Asheville, North Carolina to apply for marriage licenses. They were defiant but, of course, denied.

We have been doing this for the past 7 years in Fort mYers Florida (on Valentines day). And Dare I say it Saint John The Apostle Church that organizes it every year. :hide:
