ANOTHER Anti-gay pastor (Barnes) forced out of the closet
Pastor Of Metro Church Resigns, Admits Relations With Men
Paul Barnes Of Grace Chapel Admits Homosexual Relationships

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- The founding pastor of the 2,100-member Grace Chapel has resigned after he said he had sexual relations with other men.

Paul Barnes, who led the church for 28 years, told his congregation Sunday in a videotaped message that church leaders allowed The Denver Post to view.

He and his wife have two adult daughters.

Palmer told The Denver Post that the church got an anonymous call last week from a person who overheard a conversation in which someone mentioned "blowing the whistle" on evangelical preachers engaged in homosexuality, including Barnes.

"I have struggled with homosexuality since I was a 5-year-old boy," Barnes, 54, said in the videotaped message. "... I can't tell you the number of nights I have cried myself to sleep, begging God to take this away."

Wow... what an odd choice he made to become part of the homosexual lifestyle at age five.

More Pastor Sex Scandals Ahead, Says Evangelical Leader

POSTED: 5:25 am MST December 12, 2006
UPDATED: 5:46 am MST December 12, 2006

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- One prominent evangelical leader in Colorado believes there could be more pastors losing their jobs in sex scandals.

This weekend, Paul Barnes, the founding pastor of Grace Chapel in Englewood, announced he was leaving after confessing to having sex with men. That admission came a month after Ted Haggard was fired from his job at New Life Church in Colorado Springs amid accusations of gay sex.

Denver Seminary president Craig Williford said once one person gets caught or confesses, others in a similar situation are more likely to get the courage to speak out. He said the people they were involved with could also come forward.

Barnes resigned after an anonymous caller told the church that someone was talking about "blowing the whistle" on him.

1. But of course he's "not really gay," just a sinner.....
Look at what happens when people surrender to such deep self-hate.

2. He chose the gay lifestyle at age five because daddy didn't shower naked with him
At least, that would be James Dobson's theory.

7. No, he went gay BECAUSE daddy showered naked with him
Once the boy saw an adult penis, it was all over for his heterosexuality. :sarcasm:

3. Williford Is In Total Denial It Wasn't Courage That Motivated The DoucheBag
He was about to get OUTED!

8. "I know what you did last summer!"
"And I not only have video tape, I have the sworn statement of two other people who were witnesses. I'm sure I can find a buyer for this information, but I'm willing to hold off on selling it if you resign from your ministry and ALL involvement in public policy. I'm sure your followers would not be content just to wag their finger at you and scream, 'Hypocrite!', would they?"

10. So now,
I've gathered all the data and entered it into the Wayback Machine© and I've calculated at the present rate of "gay confessions" by Christian ministers, that by July 10, 2018 there will only be 13 heterosexual ministers left in America. And two of those I believe will be bi....

11. Does anyone know of an organization that is collecting the names
of the religious leaders that are coming out of the closet?

I have an idea for a huge banner to display across the street from the evangelical nutcases that show up at gay pride in San Diego every year.

Thanks
