More Pastor Sex Scandals Ahead, Says Evangelical Leader

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- One prominent evangelical leader in Colorado believes there could be more pastors losing their jobs in sex scandals.
This weekend, Paul Barnes, the founding pastor of Grace Chapel in Englewood, announced he was leaving after confessing to having sex with men. That admission came a month after Ted Haggard was fired from his job at New Life Church in Colorado Springs amid accusations of gay sex.
Denver Seminary president Craig Williford said once one person gets caught or confesses, others in a similar situation are more likely to get the courage to speak out. He said the people they were involved with could also come forward.
Barnes resigned after an anonymous caller told the church that someone was talking about "blowing the whistle" on him.
