A simple Thank You.

I want to extend a sincere thanks to the GLBT forum and your community. I have learned much about the human experience in the discussions found in these spaces.

I have had my eyes opened to many thought-pattern-habits that I was unaware I even carried. I greatly admire and appreciate the challenges you have faced through your lives.

I have had my eyes open to the levels of hate and disinformation that are perpetuated in this society, even entering the 21st century. It is appalling and unacceptable.

You have a friend, ally and an advocate in me. I thank you for your patience as I continue to empathize. I have prided myself in the past on my openness. Now, I am humbled by how little I have understood.

Thank you. Your words, feelings and experiences have a great effect on me.
