Inforum to launch effort to get more women on (corporate) boards
Edited on Thu Oct-07-10 12:52 PM by LuckyTheDog
Inforum plans this month to launch a new program, BoardConnections, aimed at placing more local female executives on the boards of public and private companies, especially in Michigan.

“Michigan needs strong business leaders to be competitive in a global marketplace, and career-enhancing opportunities like board service play a vital role in retaining top female talent in Michigan,” said Inforum President and CEO Terry Barclay.

“We think having opportunities for the very talented senior executive women ... here in this state to serve on corporate boards ... is another part of what will keep them here.”
