Cat-In-The-Box
I was inspired by the Happy Birthday post. We've been cleaning out the closets this week, and Cubby fell in love with one of my shoe boxes. He decided to make it his new bed for a couple of days before we cruelly took it away from him and recycled it (but not before snapping a few photos for everyone's enjoyment). I love how he curled up inside of it. :D

1. I don't know what it is about boxes, but they love them....
...Cubby is certainly empirical proof of that...;) Cubby is a cutie.

Our Sascha loves the semi-flat postal boxes and she lays on them all the time. It's funny, when one wears out, we go down to the post office to get another one. They know we're getting it for our cat, and not to mail something in...LOL!

2. My roomie's cat is the same way about boxes
He'll squeeze himself into any box he can, even if his head and tail are hanging out the ends. I've dubbed him "The Man in The Box", after the Alice in Chains song. :P

3. Oh! Cubbie is fantastic!!
Isn't it amazing how they crunch themselves up like that for hours! I love the bottom shot with the no leather label! ;)

Here's a cat in a box in a box.

Rigel will stay in a box for hours. Any new box is the favored box. :+

:hi:

9. Thanks, ThomCat!
He's such a love & his litter-mate is just the opposite. But I love them both!

4. Adorable!! It is so funny how they squeeze themselves into such tiny
spots. My cats also do that with any box that is laying around.

Just LOVE that middle pic where he is call curled up in the box.

5. So so cute!
Cats...you can buy them a 30 dollar toy and they'd rather play with the bag it came in.

8. Thanks - It was here when I moved in
It's some kind of sea grass. I like it because it's easy to keep clean and it's the only carpeting I have in my house (just the stairs and the bedroom area - the rest is hardwood flooring, perfect for the herd of cats). :D

10. and how do you clean it? I have not heard of sea grass?
I am looking for alternative floor coverings for my old wood floors. Either new hardwood or something else. Plus I have a new floor I am trying to decide what to do w/ it. I have lots of pets so it has to be something extremely easy to clean.

11. Cuteberry Cutestein, as Aki would say.
Those pics of Cubby remind me of ones of Chev in an old Rolling Rock box.

Keep the Cubby pics coming.

12. Aw, that's so cute!
I have bought countless pet beds for my cats and I still end up with cardboard boxes on the floor because that's what they want to sleep in. Cats can be so down to earth about some things! :)
