Hey. Okay, so I've never done any research on them
...and I don't have any love for the sponsors.

But I do click every day at www.theanimalrescuesite.com

It's almost nothing, but even a half a bowl of food sometimes counts. I worked at a vet's office once. It counts.

Does anyone know anything, really, about them? I can't help thinking that the five seconds a day to click there isn't a waste. Anyone?

(And if you don't know anything about them, why dontcha click?)

1. Thanks. I did, and bookmarked it and sent it to others.

2. Thank you.
As I said, I've never looked seriously at the group, and I don't love their sponsors.

However! If five seconds of my time can help feed an unloved animal...why not? Spread it around!

Thank you for helping. They've had a lot of trouble, for months, getting people to *just click*

Sad.

4. I don't understand why you don't care for the sponsors.
Weight Watchers and Purina? What's wrong with them. I buy Purina One dog food all the time.

7. I've seen Iams on the site.
Iams isn't my favorite company.

5. The money goes to The Fund for Animals and The North Shore
Animal League.

The site works as most advertiser sites do. Click through's cause you to look at banner ads, and that generates a small amount of money for the two groups' animal care. I would assume that clicking a sponsor and buying probably generates addtl. funds.

I even wear one of their blue Cultivate Peace bracelets.

6. I receive an email daily reminding me.
Even if it's a scam, it doesn't hurt me any if all I have to do is click a button.

I remember a similar website a few years ago that acted as a portal to things like amazon.com. It would then give some of your money to the charity or foundation of your choice (SETI was mine), because of the advertisers that had banners on the portal site. Anyway, this isn't really a new idea, so I'm inclined to believe it's legit.
