RAM question.
Does anybody know someplace where I can get 128K RAM for a Mac 1? Would certainly appreciate any leads.

1. What's a Mac 1?
OtherWorld Computing (www.macsales.com) has memory for most legacy systems at decent prices. I've done business with them for several years and they have always shipped fast with no problems whatsoever.

3. The first Macintosh computer, released in 1984
It was simply referred to as the Mac, or the Mac 128k. As more and more different typed of Macs became available, some folks started referring to it as the Mac 1.

Thanks for the info

6. Ah...never heard it referred to like that before.
I started with a Mac Plus.

Sorry, but OWC doesn't have any of those memory modules.

2. You could take a look a Low End Mac
Low End Mac is a site devoted to "helping users get the most value from their Macs and Mac clones", and concentrates mostly on older models. They seem to have a lot of information and links.

4. Thanks for the link
They're on vacation right now, but I'll check back later and see if they have what I need.

7. They have a list of dealers selling older Macs

and parts for Macs. It's on the top left-hand side of their site's home page below Navigation. I purchased some RAM for an old Performa from one of these years ago. Can't remember which dealer, but he had a ton of old Macs and parts for old Macs. I've also had good luck buying items for my older iMacs from Headgap in Memphis, one of the current listed dealers on Low End Mac.
