Y'ever try this ..... ?
Thomas Corn Toasting Bread

I had some tonight as a snack. Toasted. Slathered in butter. It tasted like the corn muffins you get in NY diners.

Wonderful stuff! Simply wonderful.

1. Yes it is good
I think it's been around quite a while on the East Coast. I remember getting it when I lived there about twenty years ago. I recall they have a blueberry flavored one too that's like a warm blueberry muffin.

We can't get it here in Seattle.

We can't get Thomas's Date Nut Bread either and I've been having a mega craving for some of that goodness with some cream cheese.

9. Do they still make it
I swear it was like crack to me when I lived back east. I use to see it here in PNW at Christmas time only but it hasn't been around now for a few years.

Now I've gotta do a search and see if I can have it sent to me. Damn...

I avoid white carbs like the plague but I may need to break down and do this one.

4. I remember the Pepperidge Farms bread. It was so good toasted.
Then it disappeared. We do not have the Thomas Corn Bread here in Oregon, that I know of. It sounds very good.I am partial to corn anything.

5. I'm in CA
I've never seen it. When I first moved here, we didn't even get Thomas' English muffins.

6. Bless you!
I'm going to look for this. And if Soopers doesn't have it, I'm going to order some. They carry the English Muffins, so it should be easy to get. Nothing tastes the same as those corn muffins from NYC!

They're as sinful as sinful can be, dripping butter. Hot. Making your fingertips all greasy.

God I love them!

11. did you try any of the other flavors? i saw oatmeal brown sugar raisin...
and whole wheat cinnamon raisin, and "orignial". Original seems to mean "english muffin" flavored, from the packaging. that sounds good to me.
Bwaaaah. there was no corn flavor left.
they had it last fall, it disapeared off the shelves and now, it's back. hopefullt, to stay. :D
