Paging housewolf. B, are you around?
I'm baking my favorite cheesecake from Joy of Baking website and I just saw the link to this cheesecake recipe book and wondered if you are familiar with it.

Cheesecake Extraordinaire: More Than 100 Versions of the Ultimate Dessert by Mary Crownover.

1. Here I am ,,, Here I am!
I'm around a lot, I just don't post a lot, tend to be a lurker but yes, I'm paying attention to what goes on here  Sometimes I even lurk around the Fiction & Non-fiction boards....

Anyway, to answer your question... no, I've never seen that book. I worked with the Kraft Philadeliphia Cheesecake book (titled Ultimate Cheesecakes) and another one called "The Joy of Cheesecake" but not the one you mentioned. The Kraft book is the one I learned from, and then I developed my own technique/recipe from there. Once I learned how to make a good cheesecake, I've relied on the bounty of internet cheesecake recipes for inspiration.

All that said, "Cheesecake Extraordinaire" looks to contain many yummy, tempting variations. I peeked at the index on the Amazon site you sent, and many sound really wonderful - Caramel Mocha, Apricot Mousse, Bananas Foster, Butterscotch, Orange Pineapple, Peaches & Cream w/ Fresh Peach topping, and so many others. What's unique, to me, about the book, is the quantity of myriad toppings recipes that she's included.

2. LOL!
I'm so glad you are usually around. It looks like a decent book and there are several available at decent prices. I might give this one a shot.

Thanx, sweetie.
