Question about changing pdf to gif or jpg
so I can post it as a picture. Could someone tell me if that is possible? Thanks

1. What kind of thing are you converting? pdf docs can be complex.
I use Linux so what I know may not help you much.

A quick google search yielded this, which I thought looked pretty promising:

There's a lot of pay software out there that may not be trustworthy, and some of it is plagiarized from open source software anyways.

Screen captures, at least under Linux, are trivial. ImageMagick takes care of the rest.

2. Very painless way to do it.
Open the pdf file.
Use the snapshot tool.....use the cursor,leftclick and hold, to highlight the section you want to take a picture of. Release the button to take the picture (copied to clipboard).

Open paint and paste it in. Save as a jpeg.

3. Do you have a scanner?



You shouldn't have to scan the .pdf. Just use the editing
software that came with your scanner to save it as a .jpg.
