back up storage unit.

just set it up to back up automatically daily when I'm through then set it to go to sleep.?

i cant even run youtube videos.. I'm down to 8 kbs downloads, long waits just turning pages..

i asked the Road Runner tech he didn't think it was the connection

1. I am not sure what you are pinging but if that is the first HOP
that is really high. Look for a program called ping plotter and ping to something like google.com, yahoo.com, and something else.com. save all three pings and then past the results here.

2. the previous cable tech lied to me..the last one said my router was bad and my wire was bad

was bad too, i've people out here 5 times.. crappy work, they ran new wire they said.. but they spliced it where it came into the basement.. leaving 20 feet of corroded wire from the box to the splice.. had to put a splice on the wire to the tv 3' long cause they made that too short.. left a wire 2' long out of the floor

3. got it fixed.. 6285 download/ping 106 it was a bad PLUG TRANSFORMER.... THE WRONG CORD.!!!
