Yep - you guessed it.

I turned quickly and knocked over my wine - right on top of my laptop.
After cussing, I turned it upside down and let the wine run out. Then used a microfiber cloth to dry it.

Thankfully, it is working fine - whew!

But underneath the keys on my keyboard it is very sticky.

How the heck do I clean this up?

2. Oh my!
I might have to have that done professionally.

I definitely would screw it up.

Thanks for finding those instructions. :)

3. Yeah, and for what you'd pay for a cleaning...
you're probably better off buying a replacement. They're usually pretty easy to swap out.

4. remove the keyboard...
soak it in dish washing liquid and water for about 5 minutes...
-rinse with water.
-rinse with some distilled water to get rid of any mineral deposits.

Finally, let fully dry (at least a day, then blow dry it lightly)!

Reassemble

Yeah, i know it sound very wrong! But we did this all the time when I worked for the government. We washed VAX and Cray boards in this manner all the time.
