This works in Wine, btw. I had a little trouble with the font colors in the menus (as in, I couldn't see the words of menu options) but was able to fix that with a little trial and error. I use a custom color scheme for my fonts, and that was messing it up.

It also runs in VirtualBox just fine.

I suspect not.

The book publishing industry is the latest to grab a chair at the Ministry of Copyright Silliness and seems destined to try to force a showdown over whether consumers get what they want or what the industry itself says they can have.

My biggest complaint with Kindle/Amazon right now is they don't use a standard format, which is actually a part of all this insanity, but I appreciate the effort nonetheless. They're forcing the industry to modernize somewhat.
