Can I Combine Godaddy Email Accounts?
I have new and old email accounts. And I would like to combine them, so that all email goes to one, rather than two.
Can that be done?
I have seen that some like Yahoo cannot do that.

1. When managing our work email accounts
there is often a temporary account, or (rarely) someone leaves and the account becomes redundant.

If you can get into the admin for your company emails you should be able to delete the unwanted account then set a default account for catching all emails sent to your domain but where the account name does not exist. ie To simplify, you have three email accounts for your company - tom@company.com, dick@company.com and harry@company.com. Tom leaves, so you delete his account and make, say, harry the 'catch-all' account for any stray email floating around for Tom.

2. That makes sense. I can access. I guess I should call godaddy
support. They have been good before. I need to do it for 2 accounts, and I want each one to catch two different dead accounts.
Thanks.

3. If that's the case
it may be better to set up mail forwarding. The catch all account (at least on my web host) does not discriminate - everything addressed to the correct domain but with an invalid user name funnels into that email account.

4. Ah that is it. Mail forwarding. First on any problem is getting the
right word to describe either the problem or the solution, and that is the solution. Mail forwarding. That is what I need.
I may be able to find it on the website.
Thanks again.

5. Godaddy will give me 5 email forwarding plans for $2.95 a year.
I guess I will do that.
