Sparky the Wonder Dog

It's been nearly eleven years since someone* broke into the porch off our bedroom and left a small black puppy. She's only twelve pounds--but twelve pounds of what? Manchester Terrier seems the closest to a breed description, but we assume she's some sort of mutt.

The sweetest little doggie you've ever seen, too. She loves company, and goes bonkers when she gets into a game of Chase with guests. Sparky sleeps between me and morillon most nights, and her favorite bedtime ritual is to carefully lick my feet clean. What a weirdo!

*We suspect an uncle.

I have a foot licker too. If I have a bare foot sticking out of the covers, he finds it and claims it as his own. What is it with dogs and feet?
