A Scorpio update
I thought you guys would appreciate an update on Scorpio. He is doing so well and growing big. Since he was fixed he has grown in length. His pretty smokey coloring is very beautiful now with a little white edging around his fluffy face and a bit on his legs, otherwise he is silky black with those wonderful amber eyes and a great smokey plume of a fluffy tail. I would get pictures but my mother's eye problem means that the lighting in her home isn't good. One day I'll bring the camera and ask her if I can open the blinds up full and get some pictures of this adorable guy. When I come to her home, which I do on a weekly basis, all I have to do is call his name and he comes running. He loves my visits because usually I'll bring a toy or play with him or run with him a little. But he loves his family too and comes up and sleeps on Mom's bed and grooms himself and demands play from her. My brothers both love him as well and feed and take care of him.

One thing he likes to do is jump up on top of my Mom's wheel chair. He thinks this is the funniest thing to do and we all laugh so it must be. This cat has a great sense of humor and loves being the clown.

When I look at his little black form on her bed or he comes up to me and puts his paw in my hand I feel really grateful that we saved him in time. I look at him and feel what a wonderful forgiving creature he is, after the awful neglect he suffered and what a great spirit he has.

2. Thanks for the update. No doubt his life is infinitely better than it would have been had you not
come along to save him...and obviously he is repaying that debt with the happiness he is giving your Mom and brother.

Again. You did such a wonderful thing by rescuing him from that horrible home he was in.

5. it was indeed your destiny to save this beautiful boy
and he is repaying all of you with love. Animals can teach us so much. I deliver mail to a couple of nursing homes weekly and to a hospice and I am joyed that they both have resident animals. Animals are so important for our healing. I am feeling a little sappy at this time, as I just finished this wonderful book called "Chosen by a Horse" by Susan Richards. It describes how a broken horse fixed a broken heart. Thank you for the update and I look forward to the pictures.

6. Can't wait to see the pictures. It sounds like he's living
the good life now and he knows it! I'll bet his previous owner wouldn't even recognize him now.
