How about Charts for the Parties?
Today is filled with synchronous events.

I was wondering .. Even though I believe as the bottom (Corporate) line, both Parties cater to a supra wealthy elite class.
But they both go about it in completely opposite ways.

Then I read this:
The Democratic party would be the chief obstacle to creating a consumer serfdom as they are traditionally the party that supports labor, the middle class and those outside the corporate kingdom. The Republican party is clearly and expectantly the party that abhors any progress that helps labor, the poor or the working class. They are clearly and openly a party that sees themselves, no matter how poor the constituent, as aristocracy. If not in economic status, then a kind of idiotic pridefullness in being happy to kneel to power and if not economic power then social retardation that favors the comfort of outdated prejudices.

These two entities have some kind of astrological chart. I wonder what it is. I'm looking for "birth" information.
The year for Republican is 1854.

Did Nancy ever do this chart? Anyone interested?

1. Here you go
The birth charts of the modern versions of the Democrats and Republicans, from astroworld.us

http://www.astroworld.us/archives/democraticparty.html">Democratic Party
http://www.astroworld.us/archives/gopjul6.html">Republican Party

I've never been all that certain about the Dems' chart, but the Republican chart seems to be about right. Republicans have always played up the whole "Mom and Apple Pie" theme/meme, and that's evident in the party's Cancer Sun, closely conjunct the US' July 4 Cancer Sun--so there is some definite resonance there between the ego/identities of the two. It might also go along way to explain the certain level of appeal of another July 6 born Cancerian individual--George W. Bush.

Interesting that the GOP's power and secrecy-oriented Scorpio Moon is tightly square the US' freedom-seeking, humanistic and rebellious Aquarius Moon (July 4 sibley chart). Despite appearances to the untrained, the party's motives are deeply and irreconcilably at odds with those of the American people. Emotional manipulation, appeals and deceit are par for the course where the GOP is concerned.

On the other hand, concerning the Democratic Party's chart, the Aquarius Moon in the Dems chart is tightly conjunct the US Moon. Their ideals and motives DO resonate with those of the American people. The problem may be the close square with the party's Sun and Mercury in Taurus, plus the presence of Venus very early in Taurus. Taurus can be all about money--the lure of corporate support via financial contributions in the DLC era has been too great for party leadership to simply brush off.

2. Fantastic!
Thank you! I'm going to spend some time reading that. I KNEW the GOP must have strong Cancer.

This is very helpful.

6. ... how does that synch up with how the parties "used to" be?
IE, the Dems were the pro-slavery party back in the mid 1800's and the Repubs were the opposite.

8. Hmmm
I don't believe the Rep chart for a second because they are much more evil than that.
The Dem chart is very believable, because they are so clueless, it kinda shows in that chart. It is so dense, that unfortunately, I have no comment - it's too depressing.

Thank you for supplying them.

3. I have been exceedingly interested
It's impossible to know the birth time and dates, esp for the Dems

4. Thanks Rick
I neglected to mention that the party birth times are unknown, hence there is no way of knowing house placements and the exact location of the moons. We can only guess. I do think a Scorpio Moon makes quite a bit of sense for the GOP, though. Seeking and desiring to grab and hold onto power by any means necessary is definitely the modus operandi of the Republican Party, and a particularly strong inclination of Moon in Scorpio. With the party's Cancer Sun, there is also that incessant antagonism and constant fear of some external, existential threat, real or imagined (e.g. liberals, Democrats, minorities, women, gays, immigrants, etc.). Much like the US' seemingly endless fears of communism, terrorism, economic "takeover" by China and India, etc.

For their part, the Dems just don't seem to be nearly as obsessed with winning/maintaining power, or concerned with whipping up some enemy to rally against. Maybe it's that Taurean patience?

5. I'd like to verify your source
I can't find a Rep=Cancer, Dem=Taurus anywhere.

Sounds possible, but there are so many dates to choose from. I realize a party can have multiple birth dates.
Thanks for the ideas. :hi:

9. I believe

the dems not obsessed with winning, etc. is a problem with their Mars somehow.
I don't believe that chart is it, even though the Saturn opp to Jup/Nep makes some sense
The dems have no idea how to direct themselves.

I believe we have a long, long way to go before we find either accurate chart.

WE have to keep trying.
Neither chart reflects what is going on now or has been going on the past 3 years. :hi:

They're certainly not a Mars in Virgo trine to the Sun!
