Ameliorating Food Intolerances using Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)
Disclaimer: First, this is not medical advice. This may ameliorate energetic blockages to foods and I make no claims that this can treat allergies, which is a medical term with a specific definition relating to antibody production. For severe allergies to foods such as peanuts, please see a health care professional. This falls under the category of alternative healing, which is part of the name of this group. THE SHORT VERSION: (those who don’t like long posts or instructions)

To use EFT for food intolerance symptoms, create an EFT affirmation about a particular food for which you have an intolerance: “Even though I energetically react to eating eggs, I release all negative energy related to chewing, swallowing, and digesting eggs, and release all emotions and events that have worked to cause such energetic blockages. Even though I have had these blockages, I completely love and respect myself, and feel capable to process the egg vibration throughout my body in a positive way.” Well, make something up like that, and experience the full screen EFT Boost You Tube I put up last week—definitely ALL EIGHT MINUTES OF IT, saying the affirmation throughout. Repeat the process three times in a 24 hour period. Or, just use plain EFT. Or have the You Tube EFT BOOST up while you do regular EFT and repeat the affirmation.

THE LONG VERSION:

You do not need to read this unless you want my thoughts on how you can probably increase the chances that the above will actually work, or you want a more systematic way to approach this. Like many here, I don’t generally like to read long posts, but this portion is meant for people who want a bit more depth in the subject. Here are further suggestions:

1. Use the pendulum or self muscle testing to determine your energetic blockages to specific foods. Before using EFT you would muscle test weak to a particular food, (eg, test “My energy field is compatible to the energy field of eggs” ) and to make sure that the energetic blockage is cleared you would likewise test yourself after a 24 hour period (remember you do the EFT treatment about three times during that period).

2. Use a systematic approach, using lists of foods to test and treat. One great way to do this would be to use the NAET Guidebook.

The only thing different is that you would use EFT acupoints yourself or experience my slideshow rather than paying a NAET practitioner to stimulate NAET points along the spine. There are huge advantages to reading this Guidebook, because it goes into many things that I don’t have time to cover in this setting. However http://ergopathics.com/ sells vials, and has lists of vials to purchase. In my opinion purchasing the vials is not necessary for an individual, but as it turns out the website has lists of the vials. You can use self muscle testing or a pendulum to determine the priority of items to be cleared using those lists. NAET suggests ten or eleven things to test first. I can’t even remember exactly what they are, but they do include egg, chicken, feathers, corn, sugar, vitamin C, calcium, and sodium. Specific emotions and events can also be cleared, and even various combinations of items.

3. While you are treating a food, put it in a clear glass (not plastic) and hold it in your hand (eg, an actual egg). If you don’t have easy access to the actual food, find a picture of it on the ‘net, print it out, and place your hand on it. You may also use the actual food or a picture of it when you muscle test. I know it is hard to do EFT with one hand but remember if you are experiencing the EFT Boost YouTube slideshow you do not have to tap, just watch, or alternately, just feel it as it is playing. In theory you should only have to do this once……..if you trust your pendulum you can probably do it just once. Remember you can ask any yes/no question with a pendulum. NAET has you actually avoiding the food for 24 hours. It shouldn’t be necessary if you use my video, but I don’t really know for sure. That is one reason I suggest the three treatments in the 24 hour period.

4. There is no four, unless I think of something later. Oh, yes, good luck! Any questions? Remember, the pendulum, and/or self muscle testing, is your friend. And self empowerment and self responsibility, those are your friends. At some point I will probably do a web page with this info on it. So please give me feedback.

1. Do you have any suggestions on how to use this for pets?
One of my cats seems to have developed food sensitivities and I would love to help him. Any ideas on how?

This cat and I are very close; my guess is that he is feeling my stress or other emotional state and is reacting with food sensitivities.

2. cats are so sensitive
I had a cat that responded very well to energetic treatments. This was several years ago so I don't remember exactly what I did, though. I think I did douse for emotions. Maybe I added food to it. Then I held the cat while someone used a percussor on my back points. It was actually one of the most amazing and immediate and dramatic changes that I witnessed.............he went from sickly looking to robust, gained weight, in a matter of a couple of days. People didn't even recognize him.

Having said all those encouraging things, as far as I know nobody has tried my slideshows on animals, so I don't know. No harm in trying! Just have the cat in your lap while the slideshow is playing, with your hand touching the cat with the intention that the cat is getting the treatment. Everything else would be the same as for a human. If you use a pendulum or mrt, then do it. If not intuitively or logically create an EFT statement for the cat, and maybe one for yourself, and sort of combine them, maybe some of your emotions, naming them as yours, but clearing them for you and the cat at the same time.

If you want to clear your own emotions through EFT, you obviously can do that. After all, it is emotional freedom technique. I would write the emotion on a slip of paper as you say the EFT. You can do that by yourself, to clear yourself, or with the cat in your lap to clear the cat.

If you do muscle testing or use a pendulum, you can narrow down with yes/no questions how best to do this. But it isn't necessary. Just dream up a few ways to do it and try one each day until it works. I am optimistic that you will be very pleasantly surprised at the results. I just have no guarantees.
