This is sickening. Someone posted about how little hope they feel.

Replies suggested using a noose, or waiting for the afterlife. Others made insulting remarks about whininess, etc. The mods deleted the noose comment, thank Goddess.

I see more and more people losing hope. I've seen more posts from DU folks who are losing hope. I've lost hope myself that anything is going to get better in the foreseeable future.

Is there anything we can do at ASAH to send light and comfort to those on DU who are hurting, and enlightenment to those who are being insensitive?

We can always remember Love And Light are always there.:grouphug: O8)

That said, it's good to notice what is happening in the cosmic weather report and just ride the wave of that which is happening in our human experience.

Right now, Rick is defining that as moodiness. Seems like a lot of emotional churning and roiling about is what I am seeing and experiencing. :hug: One of my teachers talks about it as emotional commotion.

3. Well, the best I can do is limit my exposure to the d*cksmacks around here.

I don't have a lot of positivity to contribute at the moment, and many of said dsers are beyond what energy I would waste sending "hope and light."

The noose comment kinda pushed me over the edge, people. Again, I feel it is pointless to try to "reach out" to people who would do things like that.

4. Send Love and Light at every chance you can give it

As a Rosicrucian we do this as part of our meditation rituals. At first I had a big problem doing this, as I had a hard time sending Love to some of the most vile people in the world, who spread hate and fear. Then I started sending out Love to them as I felt they were mentally ill, so that helped make a difference.

However, now I can send Love and Light, as I truly believe that some of these people perhaps don't know what Love is. Perhaps they have never really experienced true Love. And with these people spending so much valuable time spreading hate and fear, sending them Love and Light will have a counter effect on them and the people who endure their bullshit.


So, just keep sending Love and Light to ALL of humanity. It can only be helpful and not hurtful.

5. It is important to not allow external events to sway your emotional state.

It's very difficult, but is very important. Some won't care to follow this good advice, and will suffer as the feedback of co-creation increases. Those who seek misery will find it in droves.

This is "responsibility". We are responsible for our internal well-being.

7. So many people need compassion and encouragment right now.

These posts - not just here on DU, but elsewhere break my heart. When I see heartless comments, I'm sickened and I hope that one day these people who are cruel in their words and flippant about others' pain will one day know how wrong they were. You never, ever hurt someone who's down like that. Words are not something to be thrown about like daggers and someone else's pain is nothing to make jokes about.

Thank you for reminding us to focus more on sending love and words of encouragement to those feeling hopeless right now rather than the disillusionment over people who just don't get it yet.
