Anyone else having a very bad Mercury retrograde?
Mercury's been up my butt since the end of Feb. with no end in sight. Today I was tossed out of my sales territory and stuck in a shitty one, even though I was selling and the other "promoted" salesperson hasn't sold squat since November. It's all politics. I'm fuming.

1. Is that due to Mercury Retrograde?
I think of mercury retro problems as problems with communications or equipment.

4. Salesmen are ruled by Mercury.
Sales is an eighth house activity. So look to your eighth house and its' ruler as well as Mercury to get info about sales work.

Mercury did enter the shadow period of the retrograde in late February.

2. Mercury didn't retrograde until March 2nd...I think
Venus was retrograde in February and may be the source of your problem depending on where it falls in your horoscope.

3. Weren't you the poster who was having a good Mars retrograde?
I was just thinking about our astro forum salesperson the other day--that was you, yes? Sorry Mercury retrograde is frustrating you...could it actually be connected to Mars having resumed its forward motion?

6. your original question...
...anyone else having a bad Merc retro? So far, both my husband's and my vehicle have had to be worked on. I think the universe has started to sense when we have a little money ahead and says, "Oops, gotta take care of that!"

7. In my experience Mercury R is worse if it makes either station

on a sensitive point in your chart. This time Mercury turned retrograde conunct my Sun's Saturn (26 Pisces) and opposing his Sun (27 Virgo), and then had the audacity to turn direct conjunct his ascendant (12 Pisces) and oppositng his Venus (14 Virgo). It's been a disaster for him: jobs lost, jobs obtained, jobs quit, keys lost, ill-advised moves, money lost, money found and then lost again, insurance cancelled, insurance reinstated (thanks to $ from Mom), all of this with converse progressed Sun trine the M.C. but - ominous drum roll - square progressed Neptune in the eighth.

Edited to insert CONVERSE progressed Sun - I find converse progressions as powerful as direct.

14. Not to mention Pluto
is 26 degrees Sag and is squaring your son's Saturn in Pisces!

My Rising Sign is 26 degrees Virgo so I know all about that.

Thanks to the OP for this Support Group on Mercury RX!! :)

8. Thank goodness that it's over now!
It's my understanding that it went direct on the 25th!

:woohoo:

We spent hundreds of dollars fixing my husband's computer after upgrading his Norton Antivirus software screwed everything up. :(

Oh well, at least it wasn't something more serious.

9. It is? Oh. That explains a lot.
Transportation issues have finally been less of a problem the past couple of days. I wondered why--it wasn't my doing!

11. OH! That explains everything!
i had someone try to attack me in my car, a bit of road rage. thankfully security and later the cops were there to sort everything out and i got to run away from the crazy person. my motherboard fried out that same day. then there were a gazillion other issues that mounted from trying to repair my computer. and it was the same time of my midterms. i lost an entire week of work when i desperately needed it most.

and yet, i kept telling people that it's just a week thing, or something. for some reason i just knew that it would be winding down from saturday. granted BART where i live had 2 huge system wide computer malfunctions -- one when i was desperately trying to get to a midterm on time. but i'm far more at peace now. i think things are going to go relatively swimmingly from now on. something about passing saturday was important. and now i know why! :D thanks!

Glad you are OK! The computer problems and the BART problems all sound like Merc retro concerns. The attack, however, would be shown by more. Look for tense outer planet transits aspecting the ascendant and/or ascendant ruler, solar arcs doing the same, Saturn's transiting position and aspects, position of the secondary progressed Moon, and Mars. Events of this sort with the potential of severe harm usually have numerous (at least three)indicators in the chart. Also, the fact that we are in the midst of an eclipse cycle could have been related.

15. No cheers from me until
April 3 when the Mercury Stationary Direct gets moving and my Daily Planetary Guide says the Mercury Shit Storm is over..not really, it just says "Mercury Storm".

I have 6 Planets, A Rising Sign, and a comet(Chiron) tied up in Mercury ruled Constellations!

10. Yes, I had a bad Mercury retrograde
I work for a telecommunications company, and, we were recently told that we had to replace our older personal cell phones with new ones at our own expense. My group also had to order blackberry's for 24/7 on-call duty (we each have this duty about 1 week a month).

Both of the orders had serious problems: My personal cell phone came with a SIM that does not work in the phone (I received it on or about 3/14). I got conflicting information concerning the SIM, and it was not until this past Friday (3/24) that the confusion was cleared up and a new SIM is supposedly on it's way to me.

The blackberry came in without a SIM. The SIM was finally sent, but it was not activated (it was supposed to be). This was finally cleared up on Thursday (3/23).

Interestingly, I was one a very small handful at my company that had issues like these.

?????
