Anyone got a prediction on the filibuster?
I think they will make a deal.I sense the Republicans don't have the votes, but the Dems are too weak to play hardball. If it does go to the floor, I don't think it will pass. I am just getting something about those votes. But it will be razor close. I feel a lot of pressure.

3. so sorry, me tooooooooo tired earlier.
I am feeling as though the Repugs do now have the votes- as hard as that is to believe.

However, the general public understands the importance of the filibuster, and they are very much against doing away with it.

I get the sense that if the filibuster is killed by the Repugs the sheeples may start to revolt... finally.:silly:

5. I think
that Frist isn't sure and that's why he's doing all he's doing now. Knowing how the republicans work in the end they'll vote party line like they always do. I get mixed answers when thinking about the filibuster so I think right now it's up in the air.

6. I Think You're Right On Both Counts
and the polls out today point to the sheeples starting to raise their heads, not approving *, not approving congress in general and thinking the dems should be in control. Now I'm going to read what Nancy has to say.
