1. Why would it be a problem? It's your year!
While I'm of the opinion that one won't necessarily have a stellar year just because one is an Ox and this is the Year of the Ox—you should be in for great change and progress. The beginning of a new cycle of development. You could Google around for a good Chinese astro site if you want more detail, but from what I've seen, this will likely be a year in which you can achieve amazing things.

2. I'm Pisces born in the year of the Dragon.
It hasn't seemed to be a problem even though the Dragon is mythical although theoretically we would share scales, and it seems a water and fire sign would be a challenge. I would say that you are water and earth and probably more compatible than you think.

4. Interesting. I'm not that familiar with either system of astrology, just
rudimentary stuff.

10. somehow I knew it would say this:

I am a Cancer/Ox
in the compatibilities section it says
No Capricorn/Dragons
I have been obsessed with a Capricorn/Dragon for months!
Why me?!
Why do I have to be such a stubborn rule-breaker?!
Now will I be even more determined?!

:P
:banghead:

11. Does being told or advised to not do something usually have this effect upon you?
I have more than bit of that kneejerk reaction in me that I am trying to work on.

My first reaction to your post was to ask when you look at the qualities listed for Capricons and Capricon/Dragons do you see any that were shamed or even just not done in your family or by authority figures when you were young? Sometimes seeing a quality expressed in another human being that has been denied or not heathily developed in oneself can make that person even MORE - more attractive, more facinating, more exciting than other facets of their being already developed or at least permitted to oneself. It need not be the extreme of the goody two-shoes falling for the bad boy/girl but the spontaneous disorginized person being attracted to plan-ahead organized people.

This is not to say that a relationship or wish for one with the intriguing person isn't genuine, the affection is not real. It just means there is an extra emotional charge to the situation so then if there are difficulties can exacerbate the situation. Again this is something I have noticed in myself so I wonder if others go through that as well.

Whatever the case is I wish you good luck in your situation

12. often yes

though sometimes it depends on who is talking to me.

hm, Oxen and Dragons both tend to be stubborn and temperamental it seems, and eccentric.
Perhaps too much alike in ways where it might not be so good for two people to be alike, but, ymmv.
Brave seems to be associated with Dragons,
and I would say bravery was lacking when I was growing up,
both in myself and the environment I was in I think.
My mother was certainly quite the opposite of "plan-ahead organized"
and that is a trait I wish to cultivate in myself
but it aint easy.

13. libra ox. beauty and beast. life of contradiction. isnt that always the truth.
He protests he needs calm and cannot live in turmoil, Yet, Libra/Oxen are forever getting themselves involved in emotional scrapes. Even though they seem to be above it all, they take in strays. They seek out madness. They are magnetized by complexity.

i love it. that is fun. thanks for sharing the site.
