A Dream of a Dear Departed Friend and Aliens
Back story:

I've been having dreams lately out one of my dearest friends (Searte) back in '93. We were musicians, and artists.

We finally got Searte to move in with us when his lover moved back to California to reunite with his wife. Searte was devastated and went out and had unprotected sex and contracted the HIV virus. We ALL lived together for several years. Writing music and songs together, creating art and sharing our love of the universe.

Searte's lover came back and against our better judgment we let him move in with us. After several unpleasant episodes they moved out together. Before moving out the lover kind of tricked Searte into get an HIV check up, that's when we found out that he had indeed infected himself through his careless self destruction of unprotected sex. We didn't speak for a year and eventually we got through the backlash of our history together and how much we loved, and cared about each other.

Right before Searte got really sick his lover once again up and left. Just left. It once again devastated Searte, but this time he didn't care as much, maybe it was because he finally realized he had been used by his lover. His lover decided that he wanted to come to see Searte in the hospital, but Searte refused to see him.

The DREAM:

I was with my two friends Searte and MU and we were at a lake and MU wanted to depart from our group and go off with a guy named Mark who had a boat. Searte decided to go fishing and I went for a swim. The water was warm and the sand beneath my feet was so relaxing. Searte caught a fish on his very first attempt, but I was concerned about us eating it as I had noticed that there were four dead fish floating at the shoreline.

A VW bug came by that appeared to be having car trouble, Searte offered to help and then they drove off together. I was by myself, when a couple of guys showed up (perhaps my two youngest brothers) and we were staring at some cliffs off in the distance. On the cliffs were some hieroglyphics sorta like Egyptian Pharaohs sorta Alien looking. The hieroglyphics had a aura around them and as we watched they started walking out of the cliff. They continued to glow and they started walking toward us. When they reached us they had a look on their faces as if they wanted us to follow them. I followed them as they took me down a path and over some hills to a place that seemed as if it was an ancient graveyard, except the bodies were not buried but just laying on the ground. There were hundreds of these bodies just lying about from years of exposure to the elements. They also took me to another graveyard site that was very similar but the bodies were detached from the torsos. I wasn't sure why they were showing me, perhaps they just wanted someone to know about it and they thought I was a worthy person.

This was the best dream with Searte, the other dreams I've had with him were invaded by a friend who in real life has been less than a friend to us. He stole from us when we tried to help him and I have forgiven him on many occasions, but after the last time he screwed me over I severed the relationship once and for all.

Anyway thought I would share this dream since it was a really interesting one :-)

1. An interesting dream
I find themes to my dreams--having to do with places and with people, and have generally figured out what they mean. Any idea of the symbology of your dream?

2. I haven't really tried to analyze it
Perhaps Searte was partly using the "Teach a man to fish and he'll never hunger." Broken down car maybe deals with broken relationships:shrug:

Perhaps the Aliens in the cliff are showing things can seem hidden will appear to me, again:shrug:

Perhaps the part with MU is learning to let go of things that I can not control. He has been an on again off again friend. His wife doesn't like us so I guess he feels as though he has to follow her wishes and exclude us from his life. This really bothers me, but I don't know how to change the situation.

I have been wanting to meet my spirit guides but they have yet to manifest themselves to me that I am aware of. I really don't have a good place to meditate at this time, so I have been taking Epsom Salt baths and lighting a candle along with incense and sitting them on the ledge of the bathtub, where I can at least have some place for peace and quite. Although that sometimes isn't enough. I can hear the TV in our living room and my feral kitties Inuyasha and Sango love chasing each other down the hall. During my last bath I decided that I would bring in my CD player and at least I can drown out background noises.

I'm in the process of cleaning out my front room so I can finally have a place to meditate and start doing some yoga exercises. But it is not moving as fast as I would like.:-(

Thanks for posting, Ayesha:hi:
