2 creepy dreams in 2 nights
Both were about misadventures in religious orders. I don't belong to any religious order in waking life, since I'm agnostic.

I'm leaving out lots of details but I have questions about symbology about the following:

In the 1st night (Saturday morning) I found myself in a voodoo/condomble costume, a full white dress topped with a red skirt and a white scarf around my head. I was to participate in a dance but decided not to, and then 2 pets fell out of a tall tree and each one hurt a foot.

In the 2nd night (this morning) I was beset upon by a magical device, a zombified contraption that looked like four fishhooks tied to a drillbit, that once I discovered it, wanted to bore into the top of my skull and chewed through doors etc to do it. I escaped.

Is there something in the astrological 'weather' that would make sudden religious-themed/magical dreams make sense? I'm starting to creep myself out.

Thanks.

1. Don't know about astrological implications
but I would say that something is going on in your inner life. I would suggest that you ask for clarification before retiring tonight. And kindly remember you are in charge of your dreams, even your nightmares, so you can find out their significance. Have patience.

2. also smudging couldn't hurt.
sometimes some dream nasties (or bad thought remnants of our inner psyche) can float around and just gather strength randomly. occasionally a good ol' abjuration is what is needed -- even if it just grounds you and clears your head. if you don't sage or crystal or whatever, do whatever grounding, abjuring, and sealing exercise you feel comfortable with.

if it comes back as vibrant, maybe it's inner psyche stuff needing to be worked out. if not, perhaps you just got some ambient icky psychic residue that needed to be washed away. sometimes this comes from horror movies, terrible news events, etc. best to cleanse and return to a state of rest if you can.

3. I would take it as something I'm doing or thinking about (reading?)
prompting the dreams. The first one about the dance suggests that I'm wanting to dance w/ some voodoo-like ideas or approach, but still want to keep the purity of my thinking at the same time (the white dress and the white scarf around my head). I decide not to take part in the dance.

The second dream suggests something similar to me. I feel sort of threatened by some mental system that, if I go with it or allow it to get in my head, will do a lot of damage to my thinking. At the same time, the system has a lot of ways or ideas that could easily get me hooked on it.

If they were my dreams, I'd take them as warnings for me to take a step back from whatever it is being presented here. And from the dreams it seems to me that's what has either already happened or would be likely to happen if you decided to pursue this approach whatever it is.

I think the dreams are showing you that you're fine as you are and you shdn't get into this system or book or whatever it is.

Just my take on it if it were my dream for what it's worth.

Good luck.

4. I've been having some very intense dreams, myself.
I was groggy and disoriented all morning, even after a full night's sleep, recovering. I didn't start to feel "normal" until this afternoon.

I attributed them to the high degree of stress coming in from multiple sources right now.

I hope you're sleeping better this weekend. ;)
