I am a Pisces, born in the year of the Ox...
So why do I feel so out of my element right now? I should be in full stride right now, but somehow just feel very awkward and spiritually challenged. I seem to lack motivation to boot.

PLEASE send me some vibes and/or advice. I will be eternally grateful.

3. My co-worker is also Pisces, born in the year of the Os
Right now she is undergoing a bit of trial and tribulation--perhaps there is something going on that is keeping you back from reaching your full potential.

So remember to breathe, and to take comfort in the words "this too shall pass away."

Salaams and good vibes.

4. we need to see your chart
remember the Uranus Saturn fight is taking place along the Pisces Virgo axis, that's probably it without seeing your chart.
Good luck

5. My co-worker, who is also a Pisces and born in the year of the Ox
says you need to get a horse. If you can't get a horse, go by a place where you can hug one. This is called homeopathic horsey medicine and is very grounding.

11. are you serious?
It sounds a bit hokey, but I'm open minded enough to give it a go.

It's just that I live in a city, and don't know anyone who has a horse.

13. Check for riding stables
My co-worker assured me she IS serious. But then she has a horse, and knows from experience that "horsey medicine" works.

14. So...I should approach a horse farm and ask the owners if I can hug their horse?
:scared: You don't think they'll call the po po? Or Dr. Phil or something? :P

I'm really just kidding. It's worth a try.

21. In response to your chart::
You wrote:

I know 0 about Chinese astrology or Oxen.

You are such a NICE GIVING person, Sun, Moon, Venus & Mercury in Pisces along with the Midheaven.
Translation: you are give give give.

Simply put, here is what I see. I think you are having a delayed reaction triggered by the current Saturn in Virgo opposite Uranus in Pisces, which is trying TO LIBERATE YOU.
What does that mean? There is no Uranus OUT THERE... it is within you.
Pisces do not naturally do for themselves... it requires effort because when they do, they usually feel guilty. Which they shouldn't.
Anyhow, notice how your natal Pluto is at 3 degrees of Libra and is opposite Mercury in Pisces in late Sag.

That AXIS has been bombarded by Pluto and Mars which really started on 12/28/08. Think back, that was critical.

Someone during your formative years either consciously or un made you feel inferior MENTALLY. Or, at least you felt that way.
Since early 2008, Pluto (your inners) is tired of this and you want to stand up now for YOUR THOUGHTS, YOUR OPINIONS (Mercury, your chart ruler). This is not "normally you" but is emerging nonetheless. Of course, this IS you. Let it out, help it. The "lack of motivation" is due to the fact that you, I believe, are not used to asserting your ideas/beliefs and not it's wearing you down.

Then, there's always plain old Saturn in Virgo, it'll tire anyone out. It will be relieved on 4/13 when Mars conjoins Uranus.

Now, you MIGHT be talkative, but that doesn't mean that you don't shy away from confrontation. That's what's needed now. ASSERT your opinions and avoid conflict at the same time - I believe you'll be happier. Also, try to come to terms in past history from anyone who may have supressed your "mind".

NOtice also how your entire chart is a bucket pattern swing from major Saturn IN GEMINI in the 12th house. Another indication that you were supressed from speaking in a past life. NOW is the time to turn all this around and give yourself PERMISSION to speak aloud and really speaking your mind - don't worry, you're not going to run anyone over (The Pisces fear)

Take care and all the best, good luck, RA

24. The only thing is that I have never EVER had a problem speaking my mind...
Diplomacy is not my strong point BECAUSE of this. I also don't have a problem sticking up for myself when pushed. I try to be patient, but it has its limits. When I blow, it's IRISH. :P

But everything else is spot on.

25. OK, cool,
but that is the problem with trying to do this here. It takes an "interviewing" process. Good, you express yourself...
that helps

that leads me to your 12th harmonic chart which is kind of your "life contract" chart and has the Saturn at 18 Virgo. Saturn is presently at that exact point. This would make sense with your "tired/lifeless" statement.

A Saturn "return" in the 8th house has to do with firming up your relationships. Your self worth within relationships. It's of the utmost importance now that you put out on the table any difficulties that may need settling with mate; especially financially.

Worth in astrology can be "money" or "self-worth", in the case of the 8th house, it's the "self-worth" you have received while in a relationship. Typical Pisces give too much and feel guilty when they "take".
I don't know if this is your case or not... a true dialogue is needed.
Be well.:toast:

22. I see you have a lot of advice on here..
In my research I found out that our Prez was born in the year of the Ox, too.

The Sign of the Ox

Invariably solid and dependable, Ox people are excellent organizers. Oxen are systematic in their approach to every task they undertake. They are not easily influenced by other's ideas. Loyalty is a part of their make-up, but if deceived they will not forget. Oxen do not appear to be imaginative though they are capable of good ideas. Although not demonstrative or the most exciting people romantically, they are entirely dependable, and make devoted parents. Oxen are renowned for their patience, but it has its limits - once roused, their temper is a sight to behold.

People born under the sign of the Ox or Buffalo usually have strong codes and work ethics. This can lead to a tendency to be a workaholic, and they should make an effort to relax more. Ox people are usually strong and robust, and according to ancient wisdom, they should be blessed with long lives.

The Ox home is his castle where he finds relaxation and peace from the everyday hustle and bustle of his career or responsibilities. He also enjoys spending much time in planting gardens and trees. He generally prefers to decorate his home comfortably with nature colors.

Able, ethical and aware, co-workers of the Ox can depend on their eyes for details. Because they are so well-organized, they are better-suited for specialized positions and prefer to work in large companies. They work best when they work alone since they can be unhappy when participating in a large group.
