Command and Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath
I got this last night and I'm impressed so far. The new gameplay, Global Conquest is like Risk but you can either auto resolve the battles or fight each one in real time. I haven't started the campaign yet but it looks good as well.

If you haven't tried C&C 3, I recommend it. It's one of the best RTSs out there and this looks like a good expansion.

One small rant.. EA. $6 for "extended download service" ... :grr:

Anyone else playing this? Thoughts?

1. I got it a couple days ago
I rather like the Risk-esque battle resolution mode, but the new Scrin units seem a bit, ah, overpowered. As much as I like taking out enemy bases in thirty seconds or less, it does make it a bit less challenging.

Do you know, I've have never gotten this game to work online, even when my router is set up correctly for it. Either I'm doing something wrong, or next to nobody is playing online...

Anyhow, it's a nice expansion; the gameplay alone isn't worth $30, but the new game mode and the fact that they filmed new HD video content does add value to the package. I'm somewhat sad that Six and Sharon Tricia Helfer and Grace Park aren't in this, though.

Or are they, and I just missed them completely?

2. Hopefully they can put some balance in with a patch
I have never gotten it to work online either. I haven't tried though in awhile.

Are those the cuties in the movies? I've only watched the opening vid.

3. No, but Park and Helfer are in the non-expansion singleplayer campaign.
I know them primarily from BSG.
