More than 120 Disabled protestors were arrested yesterday in the final day of direct action aimed at allowing persons with disabilities and chronic health problems to remain in their HOMES instead of being shipped out and warehoused in Nursing Homes like Laguna Honda in Sam Francisco.

The protests and civil disobedience took place from 9/8 - 9/12 in Chicago. This is part of a struggle that ADAPT has been fighting since the early '70s.

Weds - 120 arrested in fight with Union (AFCSME).
