This is an excellent post thread topic in GDP. If I were a psychologist, and wanted to prove the theories, I ClericJohnPreston, had been spouting here at DU about Obamites, AND WHO THEY REALLY ARE, I couldn't have designed a better post.

Why?

All along I have argued that this Party has disastrously linked itself to a purposeful campaign chameleon, artfully manipulated by strategists, to be the everyman non-threatening Black Man. For people who have either been racist, or never expressed ONE SCINTILLA of racial awareness, they, without cost, can so cheaply buy their self-professed non-Racist bona fides with their vote. Never has honor been so cheaply bought.

I have argued that the CULTIST mania is related to the fact that Obama followers merely PROJECT THEIR hopes and dreams on Obama, REGARDLESS of what Obama is truly saying, or NOT saying.

The PROOF of this are the things you are reading in that post. Look at the absurdity of their statements given the reality of Obama. As pointed out above, people are waiting for his "UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE", even though he HAS NO PLAN. How could this happen? How could these cultists be so removed from REALITY, to not see their glaring inconsistency?

Thanks to the Corporatism manipulation of people and logic, you can have commercials which intone, "I'm not a doctor, BUT, I play one on TV".... You twist logic, until you actually tell people you are lying, and then watch as they accept ANYTHING, and you can understand this phenomena of Obama.

Political friggin neophyte kid voters, with no life experience, but full of misdirected passion, merely follow the lead of manipulation they were weaned on. So, you end up with the CORPORATIST choice, no matter the letter behind their name.
