A non-political forum that's open to discussing just about anything and everything. It even features a group of Edwards supporters. Anyway, I just put this blurb up in a couple of places there.:

"There's a movement underway - TODAY - (Jan. 18th 2008) to raise $7million dollars for Edwards in one day. Since he doesn't take "Big Money", he can use the bucks from those of us who see him as the only hope for having OUR needs foremost in the oval office. This is a one-day push. He'll get a much-needed monetary boost AND it'll make the media take note of him instead of pretending he isn't there.
If you search under your couch cushions for change, you can go to JohnEdwards.com and turn those coins into REAL CHANGE.
Heh! I should check the bowels of our couch more often. I found a hundred bucks there for John!"

2. Be sure to let them know the whole story...

This was started by a blogger on NewsCorpse.com. He posted his idea to DailyKos, and the rest is history. Here's a link to his dkos post today about this.

Here's a piece of his initial dkos post from January 13th this:

"There's been a lot of talk in these parts about how the media is shutting John Edwards out of the race. He has been excluded from polling. His campaign events have not been covered. Other candidates with less to show for themselves receive more attention. Etc.....

All of the these things are true. And all of the solutions I've seen have merit. We definitely need to put pressure on the media to cover this election fairly. But the media is probably not going to alter course and suddenly exhibit a journalistic integrity that they haven't even thought about since their freshman year of college. They need to be given a reason to change course; a reason that fits their definition of news.

So either Edwards could engage in a high speed police chase with Britney's kids on his lap and a missing white girl in the trunk, or he could raise $7 million dollars in one day."
