Y'all -- a coworker gave me a copy of Hillary: The Movie
I watched the trailer when someone here posted about it, and posted a thread from a MotherJones.com review about it (which sank like a stone) -- but this is worse than I realized. They even include clips from Edwards and Obama talking about her and her running on Bill's record BUT how she only remembers the good things but doesn't acknowledge the bad from back then, etc...

You talk about a glimpse into the General -- this is the roadmap.

This isn't about the 1990s -- it is about what has been going on since 2000.

This is some frightening stuff when you look forward.

:scared:

1. I don't know what to do -
I'm praying that John sweeps a butt load of states on and after 2/5 and has a shot still. Obama scares that crap out of me, I get that same, sometime irrational feeling that some have toward Edwards but with him, it intangible, like something nasty smelling just below the surface - At least with Hillary, while she scares me too, at least it's all pretty much out there, she'll say and do anything to get a vote and we pretty much know she's been driven to control the world since Monica.

2. I hear that.
At least we know pretty much where Hillary is coming from and what she's about. Obama, on the other hand, scares the crap out of me, too. Yes, something intangible, lurking below the surface, that scares me to my core. I am scared by some of the Repubs in the same way, particularly by Huckabee. I can't discount these feelings. I had intangible *feelings* about GWB during the primaries in 2000, and then, the GE, too. And most of them did NOT remain intangibles once he took office. They materialized full-blown.

3. Sister -- the reason I am worried isn't what we know, it is what
we don't about both of them.

I have to say, this movie is damning. In a huge way. I had to rewatch to take notes and I am going to do some googling -- but some of the things they are saying are downright criminal.

Add that to Obama's "mobbed-up" rep and I think we are in for a MESS in November.

Is this why John told us to take a breather and keep our powder dry?

4. I'm thinking - now bear with me...
John's suspension of the campaign will still get him delegates - and I do feel Howard Dean or another top Dem leader got to him but let's say, for a moment, John's letting them think he's getting out of the way - then after all the good press both Obama and Hillary are giving him (watch this - if it were not so sad, it'd be frickin hilarious: http://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/2/1/113138/2973) he sweeps a ton of states on Sup Tues - and then goes on to the convention... okay, it's late and I know I'm sounding all Pelican Brief but damn, wouldn't that just be it?

6. I find it hysterical how Clinton, Obama and their supporters congratulate John
on making poverty the centerpiece of his campaign, yet never say why they didn't.

5. "Take a breather and keep our powder dry"...
Yes, I've wondered about the meaning behind those words, too.
