I wish we did something like this for John !

The link is to the HRC Forum's photo thread about the protest against NBC's treatment of Hillary. You don't have to be a Hillary supporter to appreciate this effort. Be sure to click on the slide show, those signs are pretty funny (and some of us will agree about the sentiment against KO)

Oh yeah, you know if Obama's the nominee, the media's going to be so "fair and balanced" towards him :sarcasm: I wish his supporters in GDP would have kept that in mind before they attacked the protest threads. They lost my "outrage" should they need it.

To be fair, an Obama supporter did post a nice thread, which I K&R'd here:

I would have been at 30 Rock in a NY minute for Edwards ! I wonder what I would have had on my sign?

1. We should have
I know a lot of us wrote to media outlets and sent emails, and some wrote LTTE about the media blackout regarding JE, but nothing makes a point quite like photos. I was glad to see that KO came in for his fair share of the blame. I think his duplicity is particularly galling. He should know better - he used to.

2. KO likes his job.
I'll bet at some point a journalist like KO is taken out back to the woodshed and given two options: agree with certain conditions on how far, and in what direction he can push, or face the end to his career. Where can a dissenting journalist get a job these days in M$M? Someone in his position may feel he can at least do some good if he keeps his job. Of course a big pay raise might hold some weight too. Sadly the trade-off only gives us more of the same, and less of the truth.

3. I haven't watched M$M for some time.

The only KO clips I have seen were the ones a few months back posted here at DU. I assume from what I've been reading lately here at DU is that KO is supporting Obama and knocking Clinton. I suppose that tells me the M$M wants Obama to lose to McCain and KO is taking part. How sad.

I wonder if KO honestly thinks Obama is our best chance?

I really can't tell which one will do worse against McCain. They both seem the same to me.

4. KO has really become almost obsessive
in his ranting about HRC. For the record, I can't stand her or Obama, but Olbermann's attacks have at times been cringe-worthy. For a while, the first 30 minutes of his program was devoted to bashing Hillary, and it went on for weeks. He became unwatchable.

He has been doing the same thing his nemesis O'Reilly has done in slanting his reporting for a desired effect. I thought KO was above that.

5. "Good Night and Good Luck"
should be changed to "Fired Up and Ready to Go!". (saw this in a sig line on another blog!)

He was always nice to the Edwardses, but didn't talk about them and the issues nearly enough :( KO seemed to really change when JRE dropped out.

I'm still neutral, but can understand the HRC supporters frustration. When we finally get a voice in the media, I want substance not "HRC is the evil queen and OH LOOK there's BHO holding a puppy..."

6. I Feel The Very Same Way! I Kicked The MSM Habit "Almost" Completely!
Some tell me I'm "out of touch" now, but I say that's a matter of opinion! I just had to STOP and re-group because I was ALWAYS mad and irritated!

I can recall telling people that they should stay informed, but the information we get anymore is nothing but JUNK and some Media Elite's opinion! I still haven't figured out where I fit in these days, but I know I've had enough of what they are dishing out!
