2,500 jobs available — overseas

The latest enlisted overseas assignment list was issued Wednesday by Air Force Personnel Center.

The list — officially called the Overseas Enlisted Quarterly Assignment Listing Schedule or EQUAL — outlines more than 2,500 positions the Air Force needs to fill at bases in Europe, Japan, Alaska, Guam, Korea and several more foreign locations.

The list breaks down positions by Air Force Specialty Code, rank and base.

Airmen interested in pursuing an overseas assignment have until May 23 to submit their preferences to the Personnel Center. Airmen selected for the jobs will be expected to report to their new assignments no later than early 2009.
