PYEONGTAEK, South Korea — A Camp Carroll soldier who pleaded guilty to larceny, forgery and violating ration card policy is in the Camp Humphreys jail serving an eight-month sentence imposed Tuesday.

Pfc. Timothy Ferguson, who opted for a judge-only trial, also received a bad-conduct discharge during a court-martial at Camp Henry in Daegu.

He had been stationed at Camp Carroll in Waegwan with Battery B, 1st Battalion, 44th Air Defense Artillery, part of the 35th Air Defense Artillery Brigade.

Military judge Lt. Col. Thomas Kulish tried the case and sentenced Ferguson.

Ferguson pleaded guilty to using someone else’s Star credit card to make purchases on various occasions, which led to the larceny charge, and to forging that person’s name, according to Maj. LaTondra M. Anderson, spokeswoman for the Army’s 19th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) in Daegu.
