COLUMBUS, Ohio — An Ohio-based Special Forces company with the Army National Guard is leaving Monday for a fourth tour of duty.

Company B, 2nd Battalion, 19th Special Forces Group (Airborne) will be based in Afghanistan, where members will train local military and police forces and accompany them on patrols.

The group will start in Indiana and Nevada for more training then head to Afghanistan where they’ll spend about a year.

The company is headquartered at Rickenbacker Air National Guard Base in Columbus but draws from all over Ohio and 16 other states.
