Lejeune Marines linked to hotel robberies

JACKSONVILLE, N.C. — Four Marines from Camp Lejeune, N.C., arrested Tuesday for allegedly breaking into several vehicles, face multiple charges after local authorities linked them to two armed robberies at Jacksonville hotels.

Police arrested:

• Pvt. Curtis Groover, 22, of Charlie Company, 2nd Tank Battalion.

• Lance Cpl. Kody Brittingham, 20, of Headquarters and Support Company, 2nd Tank Battalion.

• Lance Cpl. Charles Anderson, 19, of Food Service Company, Combat Logistics Regiment-27, 2nd Marine Logistics Group.
