4. My favorite speech he's given to date

was the one from January 2006 when he spoke about the constitutional crisis. Brilliant, moving speech.

eloquently expanded and beautifully written.

The Assault On Reason has been an emotional life-saver for me. Whenever I'm down in the dumps about what horrific shape this nation is in, I read a chapter or two and realize there's hope...

6. Right - it had the same effect on me...

Best read it again this week. Need a booster shot against what the Congress may do this week.

Our hope is that the grassroots can have a positive effect on this election. If by some awful chance, Al Gore does not run, we need to apply pressure to push the environmental and constitutional issues on whoever gets the nomination.

But I have a strong sense that Gore is running; that he wrote that book and published it at this time as he is intending to lead us out of this mess.
