Sci-fi classic Metropolis to undergo remake: producer
A remake of Fritz Lang's groundbreaking 1927 science-fiction classic film, Metropolis, is underway, according to the producer behind Alexander.

1. Tampering with a classic is dangerous.
But it could be a timely film right about now. I will say I wasn't thrilled with the Nosferatu remake this producer was involved with, but we'll see what happens with this one. I'm always skeptical of great movies being remade.
