Hey Gilmore Girls fans --
So when ASP wrote the first episode of Gilmore Girls, she wrote the last line at the same time. She already knew how it would end.

How it actually ended was something of a letdown and I would really, really, really like to know what the real last line was supposed to be.

Oh, and BTW, Scott Patterson and Lauren Graham chemistry.

1. Present and accounted for!
:hi:

Oh yeahhhh one of life's great enduring mysteries--the Last Line. Thanks for refreshing my curiosity--I was in torment about that for ages and finally managed to put it behind me enough so that it wasn't keeping me up nights anymore, and y'all had to go and bring it up again! Oh noes I won't be sleeping soundly tonight! x(

Ehhh just joshin' ya. But yeah, I want to know what the last line would have been too! My vote: "Coffee?"

Thanks for the piccie! I might have to start watching my GG DVD collection over again!

2. So how many times have you watched Kirk run naked
screaming out of the Dragonfly?

"You have turned my Giselle into a mother."

"What do you think of the Romanofs?" "They probably had it coming." "A match made in heaven."

"I heard her bark. Put Cujo on the phone, please."

Your turn. :)

3. Many times, but not recently

which also inspires me to dig out my DVDs!

A few of my favorites:

"Indian food? You know you're gonna have to burn the house down to get the smell out."

"Well, you know what happens when you assume." / "What?" / "I don't know. Something about a donkey. It is a stupid American phrase."

"I'm attracted to pie. Doesn't mean I feel the need to date pie."

"The counter is a sacred space--my sacred space. You don't do yoga on the Dalai Lama's mat. And you don't come behind my counter. Period!"

And one of my all-time favorites, but I had to cheat and look it up because I can never remember it verbatim:

Sookie: Okay, here we go. Low fat, whole wheat blueberry pancakes.
Michel: Are there 12?
Sookie: 12 what?
Michel: Blueberries. I can only have 12 blueberries for breakfast.
Sookie: Or what?
Michel: What do you mean, or what?
Sookie: What happens if you eat 13 blueberries?
Michel: This is a silly conversation.
Sookie: Would you die?
Michel: Just hand me the plate.
Sookie: Only if you don't count.
Michel: I won't count.
Sookie: Swear. Raise your right hand and say, 'May Destiny's Child break up if I count these blueberries.'
Michel: ... Pick another group.
Sookie: Nope.
Michel: I hate you! Hate you!

4. I hated Rory at the end.
I thought she was a spoiled brat. Didn't believe for one second when she yelled at Daddy H over the phone when Logan was in the hospital. I think maybe I was madder at the whole Rory/Lorelai rift that didn't make sense or something, or maybe it was that she was perfectly happy and home and content in the mcmansion at Martha's Vineyard.

But hey, at least they guessed right on which campaign to let her work for.

6. I would like to erase season 7 from my memory
Nothing was right, and nobody acted the way they should or would have if ASP was still in charge. Any conflicts were so staged in order to create drama--nothing came about organically- that none was believable. Harumph.

But yeah, they did redeem themselves with the Obama bus. ;) Then again, what's that they say about even a broken clock being right twice a day?

8. Making Paris broke was stupid.
Fake.

So I thought I heard that they wanted ASP to do two more years and she refused and that's why they fired her. Then they bring the show back and it only lasts one more year because she was gone and they couldn't get it right.

I do like that they finally let Lorelai and Christopher make a real go of it just because the possibility had been out there for the entire show and it should've been explored, but the way they did it, having him become magically wealthy and having her sleep with him b/c of the way Luke was being with April, it was just so wrong on so many levels.

5. Golf outing, S1
It's a good walk spoiled.

I still love watching Richard and Rory basically fall in love. It's in my top 3.

7. Cinnamon's Wake
Funeral for a cat--embodied everything that was weird and lovable about Stars Hollow.

And, of course, anything Kirk--like the indie film!

Kirk: In my heart I am a true Akira Kurosawa.
Lorelai: Ah, Seven Samurai.
Kirk: What?
Lorelai: Seven Samurai. It's a great Japanese movie directed by Akira Kurosawa.
Kirk: No, who's the guy that directed all those Facts of Life episodes? Asaad Kelada. In my heart, I am a true Asaad Kelada.

9. That was my first clue that I didn't like Max.
His reaction to Lorelai thinking a cat's wake was more important than their date. He was just so uptight and so judgmental.
